The left footed Harambee stars international joined the Kogalo camp in 2019 from Police FC,then featuring in National Super League, and left at the expiry of his contract in August 2021.
“It was a difficult time for everyone, not only Gor Mahia, but the whole country. We had to pay salaries even though there was no football being played. We paid half salaries during the period after our sponsor halved their sponsorship package. We explained this to the players, and many saw the sense.” Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier said during media briefing.
