At the Ogalo Trading Centre in Matungu, Kakamega County, a strange argument between two lovers was overheard after a Kenyan woman accused her Ugandan husband of buying a television for his first wife and publicly splashed boiling water on him.
The suspect is the second wife of the victim.
Citizen Digital was informed by eyewitnesses that the woman, a mother of five, had repeatedly physically mistreated her husband, even going so far as to lock him inside their home.
“We have been working with the woman for years at this trading centre and we thought she was a genuinely good person but she has been having arguments with her husband in public,” one of the eyewitnesses said.
“This time however she decided to pour boiling water on her husband, burning his private parts in the process.”
Following the event, locals chased the woman to Uganda. She is currently running free.
“This woman should stay in Uganda or find another place to sell her products because she is no longer welcomed here,” the eyewitness said.
